Now we can dig into shooting good video
I'm still trying to get myself into the shop to try out some things for shot stabilization. Before I start talking about stabilizing devices, though, I thought I should write something about 'naturual' stablization techniques that you can use without any aids or accessories other than those you were born with.
As I got into writing this article, I realized that I really haven't had much to say about shooting technique at all, so I thought I would throw in a few basics about lighting and shot composition. Flip users generally haven't been to film school, nor have they spent a lot of time reading about shooting technique. So, what I've tried to provide is a good primer for the typical owner of a pocket camcorder like the Flip about how to make watchable video.
